'Philipp isn't my favorite hybrid but this particular plant has very nice coloring and none of those nasty vericose vein looking pouches that you get with most macranthos based hybrids. Also the dorsal sepal (did I get it right?) is upright while it normally droops in most Philipps.

This plant made two large stem buds. Some time in April the 2nd bud just stopped growing and turned brown and rotted. No idea why.

Anyway, enjoy the pictures:

Gorgeous Paul! Personally I love this one. You can see the kentuckiense in that dorsal sepal - wow!

Very nice one Paul.
Could the rot of one bud have anything to do with the discolored foliage on the plant. Lowest leaf is a bit yellowish. Maybe common in plants?

Great clone You have there. The droping dorsal septal is otherwise a bit of a pain with some Philips. They do not look as if they have opened properly.

Well done
Joakim
