Beautiful Ross! I especially love the polygala - where is that one from? All the ones I know tend purple or yellow. Can I assume you were at Bovees Nursery recently?

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your comments.

Tom: The Polygala and Magnolia and (very rare) Brewer's Spruce were all taken at the Hoyt Arboretum outside of Portland. I'm hoping to see some Brewers spruce in the wild this year, since they grow so close to where I visit in S. OR. I think that the Polygala is chamaebuxus, but Wiki says that there are 500 species, so who knows! I forgot to look at the tag.

I've been volunteering some time at Bovees now and then. Since I moved to an apartment (hopefully not for much longer!!!!!!!!!!), I've been keeping some of my plants there. The Slugs have been merciless! My Cyp cal seedlings don't stand a chance! Need more Sluggo!
