Hi,
I am going to be growing my Phrags on my windowsills (West/SW exposure) and need some info on how well these plants will do with high temps and dry air. Are there any special needs I should be aware of ? Are there any "easy to grow and bloom" Phrags that will be more accomodating?
Thanks.....

Hello and a hearty welcome to the slipper forum! Most Phrags love water and it sounds like your windowsill space would be just right to grow Phrags. However they like high humidity so if you can provide enough humidity, they should grow well for you.

Welcome to the forum..........

If the humidity is a bit low where you grow....and even if it is not....., many phrag growers will sit the plants in a shallow saucer of water to keep the air a bit more humid around the plant and to keep the plants "feet" wet as they generally love water.

Personally I have success with almost all of the phrags but find anything with schlimii a bit more fussy and anything besseae to be very easy.

good luck
