I wanted to share this photo of my Lc Canhamiana Var. coerulea ‘Cobalt’ AM /AOS.
As it is showing off this year with 16 flowers, not all open yet.
This is my oldest Cattleya, grows in a slat basket lined with nz moss and filled with a bark mix, summers outside in the patio, and winters in a south facing window.
This orchid is getting so heavy when wet it is all I can do to hang it back on the hook. So after it stops flowering I am going to divide into some smaller baskets. Before it breaks my ceiling!

That's a beautiful plant and congrats on raising it to such grandeur. Keep me in mind when you want to disperse a few divisions.

Wow very beautiful lips! I am really digging on catts lately. I really need a greenhouse first. Nice photo!

Nice growing Laura

I've seen that hybrid at shows, and they are even better in real life with that ice white to pale periwinkle petal color.

They are good size flowers too.
