I thought some of you who collect Paph books might be interested in this secondhand copy of Koopowitz's and Hasegawa's book "Novelty Slipper Orchids". I think this was only published in Australia and has been out of print for years. It is a great little book. It is only $30 AUS. I've seen secondhand copies on US sites for well over $100 US.

David, it is a great little book but it wasn't all that long ago when it was around the $100 here. It comes up on ebay at times with a much varied sale price. I have two copies, one I bought years ago at a greater price than the other. The cheap one has no dust jacket.

I bought mine for $16.50 from a little secondhand book store here in Canberra a few years back. I have been amazed at how much it sells for on the internet. But as you say if you look hard enough you can get cheap copies.

A lot of it may get rehashed in Koopowitz's new book. I'll find out soon enough.
