Has anyone ever heard of spraying dropped flowers with acrylic to prserve them?

Is acrylic the material that paper weights and clear objects are made of? You know the kind with flowers or bugs in them? I imagine it would work if your were able to coat it well enough. Probably several coats.

I would like to know more about this!

Well I picked up the acrylic spray this weekend. I have to wait now until the flower drops. I expect this to be any day because the next bud is almost open. I'll keep you informed Dustyatticstuff!
