So I am new to this site, farily new to orchids, and a recent phrag convert. I bought a Phragmipedium Eric Young (4n) X Beauport (4n) in March 2004. It was a small guy with leaves less than 3 inches long. In January I built a grow room in my basement with HID lighting. Well, now I have blooms on all types of orchis. My recent obsession of phrags was rewarded with my first self-grown bloom the other day (somewhat out of season I guess).

Thanks guys. I am pretty excited about all the information that is available here not to mention the support for us crazy people willing to spend years for a little satisfaction. My grow room has opened up new worlds for me. Some day I will get a real greenhouse.
