I observe years ago some micro balls in the mix when I carry out a transplant. Normally they are in the substrate of the better and but healthy plants. They have 0'2 to 0'5 mm of diameter, yellow clear almost white. They are round and with micro hairs appear always in mix of bark they seemed to mycelia.

It can be a good mushroom that favors the good development of the plant?

To someone occurs him the same thing?

Thanks

Hmm...From your description, it sounds familiar to something I had in a mix from Norman's (Orchids.com) not too long ago, scared the heck out of me! It was actually something they said was called synthetic moss, a water retaining medium. It turns a reddish color when wet, but was sort of grey/yellowish/beige generally. It looked like a "pill" off a sweater! Round, but fuzzy. I had a bit in a jar, just in case it was some sort of cocoon, but no, apparently not!

The other possibility could be some sort of time-release fertilizer, which I have seen in several of the plants I have repotted (transplanted) that fits this color/shape description but I've not ever noticed any "hairs" upon it.

Not sure, at all, but those are the things that came to mind upon reading your question. Hopefully others will respond.

If they spontaneously appear...I have no idea. If they are in the mix when the plant was purchased...they are probably Osmacote or another time released fertilizer granule. They are hard when dry, but turn into clear liquid-filled, hard shelled balls when moistened. Post a picture if you are able.

Hi all. Sorry by answering late. My work this very hard one in this time. The mushroom is natural. Not to have swum of artificial, since i I have changed the substrate several times in years and when the middle is new does not have these micro balls. I have used osmocote in other plants it be to identified and sure that is not the case. An another comment please? The month of May is the time of transplant for my and I am going to photograph to send.
Thanks to all.

If they are clustered they sound kinda like snail eggs (usually clear) but if yellow and fuzzy, could be dead and fungused.

The plants that have mushrooms growing out of the mix always seem to bloom the best for me... I only see mushrooms in bark based mixes.

Of course once the mushrooms come out of the pot, it is probably best to change the mix...
