Hi Brian,

We've tried Mex (Phrag.) xerophyticum (x fischeri, (x besseae) and (x schlimii), with no luck. Germination was very sparse and those few seedlings that lived to be deflasked, died within 2 weeks in compot. I heard that (x Mem. Dick Clements) was also tried by another breeder with the same result :=(

Some things just aren't meant to be.

Marilyn LeDoux, in a lecture several years back, said that she had tried several Mexipedium x Phrag crosses with no luck, either.

A friend of mine also has tried and waiting to see if the seed will grow.
