This is another of my intermedia collection. I can't get enough of them. This one is not quite as large as 'Simon Marcotte'

Lovely, Wendy!
I know nothing of these but I love how the top of the lip folds over. Very seductive. Great pale pink color also.

Very lovely flower!
I have an intermedia v. amethystina that I will have to upload photos of. Do you have that variety? I can give you a division this summer when I repot it for your collection if you don't.
I have to admit, when I was younger I used to giggle at the suggestive lip(ok I still do a little) :Shh:
At least I'm not alone, before the turn of the century some Cattleyas were considered too "graphic" to be looked at by the innocent eyes of women. Ok sorry, mind's out of the gutter now.

Thank you!
Jon, I don't have that one. If it is possible to work out a trade or something then I would love a division. Yes you are right that they are 'suggestive', but have you seen Cattleya dormaniana? This one is very much so. I have a small compot of dormaniana...hopefull in a few years I can post that one. It is VERY hard to find. (I had to deflask it early because of contamination)

This is my var. amethystina that just finished blooming not too long ago. I will send you a piece when I repot it. Don't worry about a trade, I don't mind donating to a variety collection and the cattleyas are taking up too much space as it is. I will PM you when I repot it.
