Paphraguy June 25th, 2005, 02:10 PM Heather you should get one since you're a big Darwin fan. nyorchids June 25th, 2005, 02:23 PM very nice are they also called comet orchids?? Paphraguy June 25th, 2005, 02:30 PM very nice are they also called comet orchids?? I don't know but I think they are also called Star of Bethlehems because of the large star shaped flowers. I also think they are called the Darwin orchid because he had predicted that the flowers were pollinated by a giant moth with 13 inch long proboscis. Many decades later, such moths were discovered pollinating the flowers at night. TADD June 25th, 2005, 07:15 PM I thought this was Darwin's orchid? Very nice lumper! :poke: Park Bear June 27th, 2005, 09:38 AM beautiful :clap2: |
