This is a Paraphalaenopsis photographed at the show where the pics of the Paphs I posted came from. I will follow it up with a picture of the display where it was staged.

This is a Paraphalaenopsis labukensis and it is a real beauty in bloom! I had a Paraph. laycookii in bloom a couple of years ago and I can say I were in heaven but after a while it grew to big and I had to sell it.

The Judges found something else to award Best Species to but it did receive the " Most Unusual Orchid " award for the show. Frankly, I'm not sure if anyone new whether it was flowered good, bad or indifferent, I didn't as I have not see one in the flesh before. I had to come home and read up on the species. It sure gained plenty of comment.

The plant still looks like a baby.....These can get pretty large and have 12+ flowers on an inflorescence. They grow under Phalaenopsis conditions (warm) and wet.

Your right Bill, this plant was a baby. It looked as if was the first flowering also.
