Phrag (Mt. Fallu 4N x Grande 4N)

i believe it to be:
Phrag. Bel Croute
(Sorcerer''s Apprentice 4N x caudtum var. warscewiczianum)

It does look like a Mt Falli x Grande to me but since it is a complex hybrid, I'm not so sure, could be anything.

I don't see any hint of any warscewiczianum in the flower but i could be wrong. I would think the warsce. parent would add the dark dark colors to the flower. So, I think it is probably a Grande hybrid.

thanks it just looked much darker in the photo that they posted.
i wanted to use this 4n plant in my breeding program and didn't want any 3n surprises. so you believe that it is labled correctly?
Mt. Fallu X Grande?
do you think they have their pics labled wrong?

Yes, I think so because I don't see any warsce. in it but please don't take my word for it. You should get more opinion.

seems to me that it's dangerous to try to separate those rather similar crosses based on color. some Grande are hellishly dark; others are almost pale yellow. same for warscewiczianum--the good ones have the solid mahogany brier pipe pouch, the bad ones aren't darker than a good caudatum. same goes for the longifolium contribution...
