Paphgirl March 1st, 2005, 06:43 PM Pretty! You know, I find some of the roth crosses really interesting. I hope this doesn't come across funny, but certain paph species that have been crossed I find very interesting as I might never have thought to cross them, you know? Not that this is a bad cross, I just wouldn't have thought that pink Paphs would be crossed so readily with roths. You know, brown and white w/ bright pink. Hence another one I am not sure is for me is Gloria Naugle - for some reason I would just never have thunk of crossing micranthum w/ roth. Paph. armeniacum w/ roth I can see more easily, which makes me think maybe it is a color issue for me. I tend to not be a huge fan of pink, unfortunately. I'd be curious to hear what others have to say about this. paphreek March 13th, 2005, 11:47 AM Nice flower, J W. Do you have any secrets on how to get this hybrid to bloom? I have had a large, four growth Delrosi that has never bloomed for me. Jon in SW Ohio March 14th, 2005, 12:31 AM Heather, I'm still waiting for my (charlesworthii x roth) to bloom. Talk about something different...I hope. Unfortunately it loves to make growths but not flowers. Personally, I like to cross anything with rothschildianum...except some of the complex "bulldogs". I just hope my Paph. Geoffrey Hands(roth x tigrinum) looks more exciting than the one I saw at an orchid show, and is more tigrinum dominant. Jon Park Bear March 15th, 2005, 10:02 AM That looks very nice gordoniu December 17th, 2008, 01:37 PM Your delrosi bloom has darker colors than mine. Very nice. Mine hasn't rebloomed in 4 years.
