I don't grow any Cyps but I might as well share it here. http://www.kib.ac.cn/KIBEnglish/newsandevents/15570298.html Paphy57 September 16th, 2007, 08:55 PM Ok, want one! LOL! That is very interesting! Thanks for sharing!! Slipperguy September 16th, 2007, 09:11 PM Super cool...thnx! Paul B September 16th, 2007, 09:47 PM Very interesting! Paphy57 September 16th, 2007, 09:52 PM This supports the theory that there are lots more slipper orchids waiting to be discovered!! :whoo: Tom Velardi September 16th, 2007, 10:10 PM It will be interesting to see what comes of this discovery. I've been in contact with several Cyp growers and even one expert, and the general feeling is that the plant in question is in fact an alba form of C. guttatum growing at high elevation. It certainly looks like a lovely flower. Here is a link (http://www.cypripedium.de/forum/messages/2547.html) showing the same information is the above article plus a response with an attached pdf. It would be nice if it turns out to be distinct. orchidlover September 17th, 2007, 09:07 AM Thanks for the info and link Tom! Paphraguy September 17th, 2007, 09:50 AM Very interesing!
