Here is a first blooming of Salvadore Dali. It is a cross of chamberlainianum var. victoria-reginae x liemanum. I can see two or three additional buds already in line behind this one! I like all of the plants in this group. They are compact, easy bloomers, and seem to bloom for years at a time! My primulinum is going on its 4th month in bloom and I believe the newest growth is showing a sheath!

Looks very much like the victoria regina parent.

Here is second bloom on the same Salvadore Dali plant! The pouch actually looks like it IS a slipper. This pouch is larger than the first bloom and is clean with no "ridges" in the front of the pouch. At least two more blooms are cued to follow!

Nice big pouches. What's the other parent?

Never mind... Read the whole thing :poke:

Any one have any victor regianae var kalinae pics?
