I missed the last one by a day, so when I came home, the flower was dead on the floor.

i had never seen the bloom but at one of the greenhouses where i work we had one bloom the other night. it was neat. an old friend was in town and another friend came into town and we hung out and watched it open.

Oh, man! It does smell good! I had 3 on the same night last year!
It starts out peppery, and then it sweetens as the night goes on!!
