Does any one know when or if ever Cyp. Wardii will be available in the U.S. and is any one actually growing it here. I and probably many other growers would like to get their hands on this species. A side note does any one know the culture requirements or its hardiness.

This has been a difficult species for most folks to keep. It seems that media composed of gravel and soilmaster works well. The finding that wardii in the wild live in media with pH around 8, oyster shell or dolomite added should be beneficial.

As for availability in the US, we have been trying to import some with appropriate CITES documentation. There are lots in Europe without them!
